Meeting The Brand Ambassadors
With our Brand Ambassadors’ launch only days away, I’m sure you are all excited to finally meet the wonderful individuals who have been chosen to be this year’s Bold Leaders Illuminating New Directions. These 7 women exhibited exemplary drive, passion, and a deep commitment to our mission. Anisa
Four years ago, this amazing young woman immigrated from Albania to the U.S. Now, she is living in Seattle and is currently working as an accessibility consultant for corporate America. Anisa is a woman who sees the importance in breaking the barriers that society has placed on the visually impaired community, and we are thrilled to have such a determined young woman as a Bold Blind Beauty Ambassador.
Anne
All the way From Canada, Anne is a woman who blew us all away. Although her business “Purpose In View” has taken off in recent years, she has not let the success redefine her Mission. Her mission is not only to sell a product, but also to sell her message of building a community that believes in possibilities. This is the kind of forward thinking that we value here at Bold Blind Beauty, so we are grateful that she will be joining our team this year.
Aziza
Aziza is a tenacious young woman living in Denver Colorado. She works in the healthcare industry providing in-home services to children with disabilities. She hopes that it will show both the children and the parents that it is completely possible to be a fully functioning blind adult in the working world. She shows the world every day that being blind does not hold us back, and we look forward to seeing what she brings to the table.
Bethany
Now let’s take a trip across the seas to Australia to meet Bethany. Bethany was diagnosed fairly late in life. She could have spent her time being angry at the world. Instead, she built an online presence to help uplift others going through the same thing. We strive for that resilience here at BBB, and we are certain that Bethany will be a wonderful addition to the team.
Christina
Coming to us from Georgia, Christina has been a follower of BBB for many years. She is currently the Executive Director for the Center for Independent Living. Her work has allowed her to visit Washington DC various times to advocate for the rights of people with disabilities. Her spirit and dedication shows us that she will be a great asset to our team.
Emilee
A college student from Canada, Emilee has built the online platform True Faces with her sister from the ground up. She uses her platform to tell the stories of others who are facing similar challenges. It takes a true bold leader to accomplish all that she has at such a young age, and her input will be valuable as we move forward.
Rebecca
Rebecca has truly experienced great hardship throughout her life and has come out the other side. Her sight loss journey has been fairly recent, yet she continues to thrive both in her professional and personal life. Part of her mission is to show the world that blindness is a spectrum which is something that BBB hopes to show the world. We know that with her on our team, we will be able to spread this important message.
