The Chambray Shirt & A Little Pop Of Color
Busy, busy, busy. Between dental appointments, shopping for new hair, and taking my mom to the eye doctor I’m exhausted.
Where has the week gone? It seems like yesterday it just started and here we are now on Friday.
Since I’m typically at home attached to my computer, if you were to visit, you’d find me looking like a castaway on some deserted island. So what an exhilarating change of pace to grab the opportunity to coordinate outfits and full makeup for four days in a row.
Even though temperatures were in the mid to upper 60s earlier in the week, for me this range is a little too cool for sleeveless yet a little too warm for a jacket. The solution was a chambray shirt atop a sleeveless top with jeans and yellow & natural striped espadrille wedge mules. The bonus here (this is totally accidental), is the yellow in my shoes matches the yellow on my white cane.
Wearing a button down shirt open, partially buttoned, or tied as a cover-up is a nice, simple, easy-going look in comparison to a blazer.
