Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice!!!

So, chilling at the local coffee shop with my new teal scarf sipping on a pumpkin spice latte. I love to hold the warm cup in my hands and take in the scent that takes me back to my childhood. The pumpkin pies, the laughs, and the family gatherings. Don’t you love how some foods can take you back to fun memories! On Halloween, carving pumpkins and getting my evening of fun trick or treating! Have you ever wondered about the crazy phenomenon that is pumpkin spice? I got a true kick out of this article:


I am all about the latte’s and scents, but deodorant with a flair of pumpkin spice?!? LOL

Maybe the Fall Season is still on the warmer side for you and a hot beverage is not doing it for you! No worries! Dairy Queen has their Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat ready for you to enjoy.

Needing your pumpkin pie fix, but want to have a healthy side to it?

Here is my all fun overnight pumpkin pie oatmeal recipe:

  • ½ cup of whole oats or steel-cut
  • ¼ cup of pumpkin pie filling
  • Sprinkle of pumpkin spice to your liking
  • 1 packet of sweetener. I use Stevia
  • ½ cup Almond or fat-free milk (I use Almond milk)
  • Chia seeds or hemp seeds for extra omegas!

First I take the rolled oats, pumpkin filling, and the rest of the dry ingredients in a container. Then dump the almond milk over and put a lid on and shake. Put it in the refrigerator overnight. Then, pop off the lid, place a paper towel over the container, and microwave for 2 minutes. Stir and enjoy!
