A Lil’ Inspiration #34

Portrait of Dalai Lama is about the quoted text.“Whether one is rich or poor, educated or illiterate, religious or nonbelieving, man or woman, black, white, or brown, we are all the same. Physically, emotionally, and mentally, we are all equal. We all share basic needs for food, shelter, safety, and love. We all aspire to happiness and we all shun suffering. Each of us has hopes, worries, fears, and dreams. Each of us wants the best for our family and loved ones. We all experience pain when we suffer loss and joy when we achieve what we seek. On this fundamental level, religion, ethnicity, culture, and language make no difference.” ~ Dalai Lama

  1. It is comforting to know there are people who recognize that change for good begins with each of us as individuals. And when like-minded people join forces its a beautiful thing.

  2. Very true. I agree with sportsattitude. If everyone would keep this in mind, the world would be a much better place in which to live. I guess it is only wishful thinking that everyone will, but, I can start with me. (I do try to do this every day.)

  3. Thank you Patty for reading it. I’m so glad you like it and will share it. It’s a beautiful piece.

  4. Wise wise man! I am going to copy this inspirational piece.
    Thanks for sharing dear Steph!

  5. If only everyone had this front and center in their mind as they go about their day each day. Wise words of inspiration indeed Steph!
