4 Beauty Holiday Gift-Giving Ideas
Beauty Editor’s Note:
This month’s post was inspired by Nasreen. It’s spawned from our weekly meeting with Steph when we were brainstorming about the new newsletter. Can I say, we have the best brainstorms when the three of us get together and a lot of laughs. Anyway, the holiday gift-giving season is upon us. Not only that but birthdays and winter graduations. Shop wisely and enjoy your holiday gift season! Dana

The Best in Beauty
If you are like me, I covet the October issue of Allure magazine’s Best of Beauty. I have great news, all the products can be purchased on Amazon. For you prime members, you know what that means, free shipping! Take advantage of prime days and cyber week coming up in November.
More than a Dozen

For dazzling nail colors for the holidays check out OPI’s Jewel Be Bold Holiday Collection. They come in 15 shades and three different formulations. A perfect gift for you and the OPI aficionado on your list.
Making Scents Limited Editions

When it comes to fragrances, I always like to look for the ones that aren’t widely used. You know how you can be around a person and they have on a certain fragrance and you can identify it? I never liked that, I always wanted to be unique in this area as much as possible anyway.
Explore limited edition fragrances that only come out around the holidays. And the beauty of that is it can be your winter fragrance as well. Now keep in mind limited edition is just that limited. So if you find a fragrance that you love, be prepared to look for something else when that edition runs out. That’s definitely a unique beauty gift idea.
Sale-Abration When to Catch the Deals

I’m always looking for beauty steals and deals. One of the questions that came up in our team meeting by Nasreen: when are the sales happening? My best tip for that is to get on those beauty store’s email lists like Ulta, Sephora, etc. I know we all get a lot of emails from places that we shop from; however, you get emails about sales that will be coming up in advance.
Be on the lookout for one day only sales, coupons and a like. According to Harper’s Bazaar, cyber week takes place November 25th and runs through November 28th your favorite beauty sites during this time. You never know what you might find.
Allure has a newsletter that puts out when certain sales and deals are going to take place. Don’t be afraid to check out the clearance and sale section of your favorite beauty stores. Those things happen often and you just have to keep your eye out for what you want. Just make sure you get yourself on the email list! Bargain hunting takes some savvy and patience. Won’t it be great when you snag that beauty deal or steal?
