Description is in the body of the post.

Insights on Beauty & Sight Loss

“The most difficult things about losing my eyesight apart from not being able to see, was the loss of access to information, the lack of general awareness, and the negativity associated with blindness.” ~Abigale

Description: A white, teal, and gray template utilizing the ‘Abby’s Corner’ image of Abby sitting cross-legged in her PJs (gray bottoms & white top with a gray collar) with a teal Abby logo laptop on her lap. Sporting her signature explosive hairstyle, she is wearing a headset with microphone and her white cane is propped up next to her.

  1. I love how you never gave up ❤️

  2. I can see how all of those things would be hard and glad you have found ways to overcome those that are in your control and work to improve the others.

    1. Yes, and it’s an ongoing struggle but to your point about control I realized I had little control over what was happening to me but I could control how I react. I think surrounding myself with positive role models is extremely helpful and contributes largely to my success.

      1. And now, you are a wonderful role model to so many others!

      2. Thank you💖

      3. Controlling how you react is the difference between failure and thrive. You are an wonderful peer support person, mentor, and friend. You help a great number of us and our families with these concise reminders.

      4. Thank you George😊
