Maximum Impact With Fall’s Lip Trends

"It's a new season. A perfect opportunity to do something new, something BOLD, something Beautiful!" Black text against a grainy light colored background, no image.

Abby is sitting cross legged in her PJs (gray bottoms & white top with a gray collar) with a teal Abby logo laptop on her lap. Sporting her signature explosive hairstyle, she is wearing a headset with microphone and her white cane is propped up next to her. It’s a new season. A perfect opportunity to do something new, something BOLD, something Beautiful!

Today we usher in the most spectacular of the four seasons – Autumn! Like a carefree child dabbling in colorful finger paints, you too can take advantage of the vibrant hues of fall.

Playing with lip colors and textures is the easiest yet most dramatic statement you can make. From creamy to matte, glossy to metallic, experimenting with different shades and cool techniques you can create a multitude of looks depending on your mood.

There are a plethora of colors and brands from which to choose in a range of price points. Here are just a few sample colors trending this Autumn:

  • Red-Brown
  • Blood Orange
  • Orange Red
  • Black Violet
  • Chestnut Brown
  • Dusty Lilac
  • Warm Tangerine
  • Deep Plum

Take advantage of the season to break out of your comfort zone. Grab one of your besties, several shades of lip color then check out some YouTube tutorials to learn how to master an edgy look like a sultry vamp or ombré lips. Two of my favorite blind makeup vloggers are Lucy Edwards of Yesterday’s Wishes and Emily Davison of Fashioneyesta.

Have an enjoyable day and great weekend! ~Abby

  1. Gorgeous Fall colors! I am a “winter” color (I’ve been told) but can boldly do deep plum. Yum!

  2. I love the idea of fall makeup but I can only wear a coral color because I am so fair. Love the scents of the season too!

    1. Tell me about it Kerry. I long for this season mainly for pumpkin spice coffee and hot apple cider but I love it all, sounds, sights and smells of fall.

      1. It arrives a little late in Houston but I noticed the supermarkets had some fabulous pumpkins in stock.

      2. Our leaves began turning in early September when it was chilly. For the past few days though it’s been so hot I felt like a hot flash would cool me down. 😅

      3. LOL! I have noticed our night temperatures are dropping and I wake up with frozen, painful legs. The cat wouldn’t get off the thermal blanket…😽

    1. Me too Lynz!! I love the colors, scents and let’s not forget pumpkin spice – YUM!
