  1. Good luck with the new channel! I was initially surprised to hear the statistic that 97% or so of blind people have some functional vision, but once I thought about it, I realized that it made a lot of sense. It was nice to hear that you kept your retired guide dog as a pet. I’m sure that’s an arrangement that suits everyone. Incidentally, I like the cool name of your channel.

    1. Thanks Bun!! I should really confirm the statistic, but it’s close to that–it’s VERY high, but that includes even things like only light perception, so the level of functional vision varies greatly.

      My kids think the name is hilarious, but, it’s appropriate so I’m good with it. 😂 Thanks for sharing your thoughts!! ❤️ -Nicole
