Field of wheat against a pale blue sky.“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” ~John Fitzgerald Kennedy

  1. Hi Steph. I am wondering if you would like to be featured on next Monday’s Small Steps Up Mountains post? If so, I would certainly include a link to your About page and wonder which other posts you might like highlighted (If you agree to be featured)

  2. Quotes so often provide perspective by way of a clever turn on words. But this one offers real substance, because it beckons people to action, as so often President Kennedy’s words do. Hope you’re having a Happy Thanksgiving with your family, Stephanae. :O)

      1. Amen! Thanksgiving a bit tough this year being in solitary confinement due to my broken ankle and my blindness. But I know I have a lot to be thankful for, and I would add meeting you makes it one more blessing to be thankful for. So glad I stumbled upon your site! (But if my sight existed, I would have never stumbled and broken my ankle!)

      2. The feeling is mutual Carla! Isn’t it funny how things work out? I’ve mulled over how my life has changed after sight loss and I know I wouldn’t have met the phenomenal people I’ve encountered had I not lost my vision. I’m constantly amazed at the positive effects we have on one another as we embark on changing the world.
