1 Pencil Skirt, 3 Looks: Day 2

The Beauty Of Double Duty

Collage of 3 images of me in standing poses with my white cane.Continuing where I left off yesterday, today’s look has a couple of hidden features which are displayed in the second photo (description below).

When I was young I wanted to be a spy when I grew up. Disguises, secret codes, and covert communications greatly appealed to me. Considering my childhood dream it comes as no surprise that I love all things double duty including clothing and accessories.

The ‘choker’ is actually a long strand of faux pearls which I’ve doubled up and secured with a little clip at the back of my neck. To add extra pizzazz, at times I will affix a brooch to the front of the faux choker. The skirt has a hidden zipper in the split at the back which allows me to convert it to a non split. Cool huh?

Standing pose with an insert of the skirt displaying the open split/zipper, strand of pearls and necklace shortener.

I’ve had the silver plated clip for many years (an awesome purchase from Premier Design Jewelry). Unfortunately I can’t remember the formal name but you can search for a necklace shortener or clip.

Images: Gray Ann Taylor skirt, burgundy Ann Taylor, surplice (faux wrap) top, burgundy opaque tights, gray patterned faux suede ankle boots, faux pearl choker, chunky bracelet, and finally my white cane.
